Another world first for Burj Khalifa

May 18, 2016

The tallest building in the world Burj Khalifa now has 12 advanced telescopes at its observation decks on Level 124 and Level 125. Visitors can now have truly panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. The newly introduced telescopes feature full HD cameras with high zoom and are a first for any observatory in the world. With deep zoom functionality, they offer giga-panoramic views during day or night. They come with a multi-touch 22 inch high-end rugged screen. Six of the new telescopes are stationed on Level 124 as part of the At the Top, Burj Khalifa experience.

The other six are on Level 125, as part of the two-phase At the Top, Burj Khalifa SKY journey that takes visitors through Level 125 and Level 148, at a height of 555 metres. It holds the Guinness World Record for the highest observation deck. Level 125 also features signature Viewfinders enabling them to explore the city in vivid detail, such as ‘Dubai-A Falcon’s Eye View’ that provides visitors the opportunity to experience Dubai from an entirely unique perspective of a falcon. They can go on a virtual tour across prominent destinations of Dubai, hovering above the city like a falcon. The use of these advanced telescopes is for free for all visitors. The experience also includes a brand-new spiral flight that connects Levels 124 and Levels 125.
